Real-time virtual camera tracking is ideal for scouting virtual locations, framing, and quickly iterating complex scenes. Position camera movements and capture mocap actors in the same volume for pre-visualization capabilities that cannot be achieved with traditional keyframing methods. Along with live camera work, canned animation can also be incorporated into the scene.

Driving virtual cameras using motion capture significantly reduces production workload. In addition to increased realism, mocap allows faster content creation, real-time results, and more creative control over animations, making content creation quick and economical.
MotionBuilder Plugins and Maya
Control streaming, scripts, button mapping, scaling, and camera properties with comprehensive plugins for working with cameras in MotionBuilder and Maya. A general-purpose version of the MotionBuilder plug-in is also available for use with other vendors' motion capture systems.
Interoperability with other motion capture systems
To ensure compatibility with a variety of production pipelines, Insight VCS can be integrated into existing third-party motion capture systems using Universal MotionBuilder plug-ins. It supports any motion capture system that can stream 6DoF rigid body data into MotionBuilder for mapping to a virtual camera.
