The Awinda radio protocol ensures highly accurate time synchronization within 10 µs between each MTw of the wireless body area network, essential for accurate joint angles.

MTw Awinda includes the MT software suite which includes:

An easy-to-use graphical user interface allows real-time viewing of 3D orientation and sensor data, recording of data streamed from the MTw through the Awinda station and exporting to ASCII files for further analysis.

software development kit

The SDK provides direct and real-time access to the output of the MTw motion tracker, allowing users to configure and easily integrate the MTw in their applications.

It contains drivers, documentation and other useful tools for various operating systems. Communication is made easy with the Xsens Device API (XDA), entirely in C code. MT SDK includes the following development tools:
