"Fast glass" 12mm lens.We custom design our own low distortion “fast glass” lenses for optimal marker tracking. Primex 41's standard 12mm lens is treated with a broadband anti-reflection coating, which greatly increases light transmittance to the imager, resulting in higher volumes and more accurate 3D data.
Powerful on-board image processing.All OptiTrack cameras feature integrated image processing. Algorithms and data delivery sequences that identify markers and marker centers are important steps towards achieving world-class accuracy and low latency.
Camera status indicator.The OptiTrack system keeps you up-to-date with customizable colored LED indicators surrounding the lens. recording a performance? Everyone knows the system is recording. Out-of-the-box outdoor capture.Primex 41 extends the world record setting range to markers for outdoor capture. For the manual marker, the outdoor (bright sunlight, noon) range is about 50' (16m). For Signature Pulse Active technology, the range is > 70' (21 m).

External sync input/output, genlock and time code.Sync your Prime and Primex cameras to any signal or source with eSync 2, with all the features and flexibility you expect from a professional tracking system. The camera synchronizes with dozens of sources, including Genlock signals from professional cameras, and recording and other event triggering can be managed with universal inputs and software commands.
Use the sync output signal as a master or trigger force plates, EMGs, and National Instruments DAQ for flexible yet precise hardware synchronization. SMTPE timecode allows for easy editing and logging with highly accurate frame timing. OptiTrack's free public SDK allows further customization within the timing protocol.
